Mi viaje empieza en Bangkok, surcando el rio Chao Phraya… en una lancha me voy adentrando en un laberinto de casas y templos y descubro monjes, madres, ancianos y niños que me sonríen cuando les miro.
El agua está contaminada, escasea la comida, las medidas higiénicas no son las más favorables, pero ellos están alegres, esto es lo que les ha tocado vivir y se ayudan unos a otros con lo poco que tienen, esta es la esencia maravillosa de este pueblo, de su cultura, del pensamiento budista, es fascinante, cuanto he aprendido en este viaje que acabo de iniciar, es una cura de humildad para unos occidentales atrapados en el consumismo y la avaricia. Me he sentido culpable, pero me ha quitado la venda q tenia puesta, a partir de ahora noto como todo lo que descubro me está cambiando algo en mi interior.
Me pierdo en el mercado de Chatuchak donde es posible encontrar hasta algún antepasado, el mercado flotante me maravilla, es especial, exótico y no me canso de mirarlo todo, que paz y que caos al mismo tiempo el gran palacio es una de las maravillas del mundo, en su templo del buda de esmeralda se encuentra un buda de 1'69 metros esculpido en un bloque sólido de jade semiprecioso que es el objeto religioso más venerado de Tailandia.
De Bangkok doy un salto de gigante y aterrizo en Hong Kong, después de tres días conociéndola la considero una de mis ciudades preferidas, me recuerda a Manhattan me encanta la fusión de lo oriental con lo occidental, el caos que todo lo envuelve, la bahía, los rascacielos, los cientos de personas q abarrotan sus calles.
Las vistas desde el pico victoria, al que accedo por el tranvía mas empinado del mundo(550m de altura) son de lo mejor.
Estoy instalada en la península de Kowloon en el hotel intercontinental, las vistas al puerto son únicas con su increíble ajetreo(es el puerto más importante de china) sus exóticos juncos, sampanes y hasta algún transatlantico.es un puerto fragante, nombre q en chino antiguo significa Hong Kong.
Por la noche esta ciudad se convierte en un decorado de película, me recuerda a blade runner. La iluminación de los rascacielos se eleva hasta el cielo y en las calles los neones dan un ambiente de fiesta... Me fascina!!!!!
Y para finalizar mi viaje llego a la isla de Bali. Un sueño del que no me quiero bajar.
Los templos mas deliciosos que he visto. Surgiendo del mar está el templo de Thanat lot, al bajar la marea queda suspendido sobre una roca con un sin fin de cuevas originadas por la fuerza del agua y de los años.
Los paisajes de los empinados arrozales en bancales que todavía se cultivan con la ayuda del búfalo del agua.
Templos custodiados por monos, otros por murciélagos gigantes.
Los balineses consideran su isla de los dioses y creen que habitan en lo alto de las montañas .
En Bali siempre hay una celebración, sus bellas mujeres portan flores y cestas de frutas para estos días, es una isla de la danza, la oración y los templos con sus misterios.
